Welcome to GRIT

Yes, it’s Hard. But it’s Also Motivating, Fun, and Worth it.

GRITSpot is so much more than just a workout — it’s a powerful mind-body experience. We’re coached by magnetic instructors, who support us, coach us and push us to reach our personal bests. We run, we jump, we do push-ups, we do burpees, we set our intention, and we break through boundaries. The best part: We do it together, as a community.

Let’s get you ready for workout!

Get Your Heart Rate Sensor

GRITSpot will provide a free heart rate sensor for you. Members who come regularly (at least 2/month) can also take the sensor home and use it with other fitness apps, such as runtastic or runkeeper.

To get your sensor in the first workout, all you have to do is enter your date of birth, gender, height and weight into your personal profile. This will make sure that your measurements are tuned to you and the results are as accurate as possible. The trainer team will bring you your sensor to your first booked workout.

Eat Before the Workout

Eat a small, 100- to 200-calorie snack about half an hour before your workout. It should be easy-to-digest carbohydrates like fruit, a bagel, or an energy bar. The other option is to eat a nutritionally balanced meal one or two hours before you start working out.

Book Your Class

Please book your workout before every training session on our Wesbite. If you can’t make it, please cancel your booking as early as possible so that other participants can take your place.

Keep Hydrated

We will sweat a lot, so it’s important to hydrate for the workout. We have water at the studio — bring a bottle to fill up.

What to Wear

Come as you are in your favorite workout clothes: shorts or leggings with a tank or tee. Make sure you bring warm clothes in winter so that you do not get cold while stretching. If we're training indoors, think of some clean shoes.

Arrive Early

For your first time, get to the studio 15 minutes before the workout starts. Our coaches will give you a quick tour and help you set up your heart rate sensor.

The First Workout

As you saw above, it will not be an easy first workout. Nevertheless, do not stress at the beginning. If you have not been very active in recent weeks, you should take the first round easy and see how you feel. Our instructors, the music, and the group atmosphere will push you to do what you didn’t even know you were capable of doing. It’s magic and you will love it!
